NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Officials with the North Charleston Police Department say a woman who was wanted for questioning in the murder of a high school football player has been found.

Authorities announced on Jan. 27 that they were looking for a woman wanted for questioning in connection to a homicide that happened on Dec. 28, 2021 at 9:11 p.m. near 2003 Pine Forest Drive.

On Friday, NCPD officials said that woman had been found.

“There are no known active warrants for this individual,” NCPD officials said on Thursday.

Investigators have already arrested 21-year-old James Ryan Felder in the case who has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Terrell Backman-Carter who attended North Charleston High School and was a football player.
