Cold front to bring rain and storms Wednesday afternoon!
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - We expect a warm and muggy night on the way. Some upper energy may fire off a shower or thunderstorm during the late night hours. A cold front will drop into our area Wednesday bringing an increased chance of showers and storms by the afternoon and evening. This front will slow down and stall just to our south on Thursday keeping clouds and rain in the forecast. Temperatures will change drastically behind this front. Highs will reach the upper 80s on Wednesday but only the mid 70s on Thursday. Sunshine will slowly increase and temperatures will warm back up by the weekend. A couple of showers and storms will be possible on Friday and Saturday.
