Crash closes portion of Rivers Ave. in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department said a crash shut down a portion of Rivers Avenue for more than an hour Saturday night.
Police said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the crash on the westbound side of Rivers Avenue near Barnwell Avenue blocked the westbound lanes shortly before 6:36 p.m.
Police spokesman Harve Jacobs said the crash involved one vehicle and the crash resulted in minor injuries.
The roadway reopened at 7:41 p.m., police said.
