Coast Guard rescues boaters stranded on Morris Island

MORRIS ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) — The U.S. Coast Guard helped rescue two boaters over the weekend.

The duo was stranded on Morris Island on Sunday after their vessel became grounded.

The boat crew took the stranded boaters back to shore, and no injuries were reported.

The owner of the boat will make arrangements for the salvage.
