Kyle Jordan

A Georgia native, Kyle joined WTOC in December of 2020. He anchors THE News at Daybreak and co-hosts Morning Break with Tim Guidera.

Kyle grew up in Thomasville, Georgia and studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of Georgia. He also has a history degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

In June 2021, Kyle celebrated 20 years as broadcast news journalist. His cross-country career started at KDRV in Medford, Oregon as a reporter and sports anchor. A move to WINK in Fort Myers, Florida also led to a big schedule change when he started anchoring the weekend morning show.

In October 2012, Kyle traded in the gulf coast for the Atlantic and moved to Charleston, South Carolina. He anchored the top-rated morning newscast at WCSC for eight years and won an Emmy award for Best Morning Newscast in 2021.

During his career, Kyle has covered wildfires out west, the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the tragic Charleston church shooting and reported from the path of storms during several hurricane seasons. Kyle's real passion in reporting has always been discovering "Good News" about the people in his community.

Kyle is huge sports fan and is excited to be back in the Peach State and closer to some of his favorite teams. He and his wife, Whitney have settled in Richmond Hill where they are raising their two young children.
