Deputies think missing man is a victim of foul play

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of a 20-year-old South Carolina man whose friends and family say hasn't been seen in more than two weeks.

Berkeley County deputies told multiple media outlets that Larry Cook was last seen on Dec. 16 in Goose Creek.

Authorities say an acquaintance was found with Cook's car two days later in Tallahassee, Fla.

Investigators call him a person of interest, but say he has not been charged in the case.

Deputies won't specify why they think Cook was the victim of foul play.
