COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - A Spartanburg man has been sentenced to six years in prison for a 2007 traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of crack and cocaine.
Tommy O'Neil Rogers, 29, was sentenced for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine. On Dec. 8, 2007, Wellford Police officers stopped a vehicle driven by Rogers. After receiving conflicting stories from Rogers and a passenger, Rogers gave permission to search the vehicle, where officers found drugs and weapons.
Rogers was arrested and taken to Wellford jail, where a body search turned up 122.4 grams of crack and 3.7 grams of cocaine.
