NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person died and another was injured after a three-car accident in North Charleston Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say a 60-year-old man died after the accident on Ashley Phosphate Road near Saddlebrook Drive.

According to investigators, the man was pulling out of a parking lot in his Honda car when he was struck by an SUV. The man's car was then pushed into oncoming traffic and was hit by a pickup truck.
