Charleston County libraries asking for public's input

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County public libraries are at a crossroads while they try to balance increased demand for services against continuing budget cuts.

To get some input on how to handle the situation, there will be several public meetings. There are two scheduled Monday night at 6:30.

The first one is at the Dorchester Road regional branch in North Charleston and the other is at Mt. Pleasant regional on Mathis Ferry Road.

Several more meetings will be held throughout the week.
