Man wearing bandana robs gas station with sawed-off shotgun

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a West Ashley gas station late Monday night.

The robbery happened at the Exxon located at the intersection of Savannah Highway and Wesley Drive around 11:30 p.m.

Officers say the suspect came in with a sawed-off double-barrell shotgun, demanded money and ran off. The suspect is still on the loose. Witnesses say he was wearing a bandana.
