EADYTOWN, SC (WCSC) - Authorities continue to look for a 78-year-old man who went missing July 12.

A search team of 50 people from the Berkeley County Rescue Squad and the Eadytown Fire Department set out to look for James Spann early Saturday morning.

Dogs, ATVs and a plane were also used in the effort. The search party did not find any clues that might help them locate Spann.

Officials say Spann, who has dementia, was last seen 11 days ago. He went missing after walking away from his home. He is described as a black male who was wearing brown pants and a white T-shirt. He is about 5'7" and weighs 150 pounds.
