NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Two lanes along a stretch of Interstate 26 westbound are back open Tuesday morning following an early-morning accident that sent two people to the hospital.
The accident happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday near the Ashley Phosphate exit in North Charleston. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, one car hit the concrete median.
Crews had that part of the road closed while they cleared the scene.
No word on what caused the accident, or on the condition of the two involved in that accident.
