3 Injured in overnight shooting in downtown Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - At least 12 to 13 Charleston police officers responded to a shooting in downtown Charleston early Thursday morning that injured three people.

Police say the shooting happened on Stuart Street around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Witnesses say they saw several people lying on the ground before EMS arrived. The shooting victims were taken to MUSC. There is no word on their condition.
