SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - A car stolen from the driveway of a Summerville residence in the South Point neighborhood has neighbors in the area wondering why criminals are hitting their neighborhood.

Dahle Feagin walked out of her house Wednesday morning to quite a surprise.

Feagin's car, a red Honda Accord, was missing. Police believe that the suspects broke into the Chevy Suburban parked beside the Accord, and stole her purse. In the purse were keys to the Accord. Things quickly went from bad to worse.

"I got a call in the morning from my bank saying there was some strange charges on my account at 6:30 in the morning," said Feagin.

The thieves charged over $1,000 to Feagin's account. Feagin's car was later found in Lincolnville, along with another reported stolen car.

Both cars are being held by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office as deputies search for evidence.

Currently, Summerville police do not have any suspects. If you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
