No one hurt after car bursts into flames on I-26
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - No one was hurt Friday morning after a vehicle caught fire on Interstate 26 at Eagle Drive.
South Carolina Highway Patrol and emergency crews responded to the vehicle fire near mile marker 210 on I-26. Troopers say no one was injured and the North Charelston Fire Department put the fire out quickly.
One lane of traffic going eastbound was blocked temporarily.
Flames coming from the car were visible and black smoke poured into the sky.
The cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
