CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A Live 5 Most Wanted suspect was captured Wednesday after a viewer sent in a tip to Crime Stoppers.

Police arrested 23-year-old Jacob George Tubbs on charges of second degree burglary in connection with the theft of thousands of dollars worth of gold jewelry and cash from a kiosk at Citadel Mall in Oct. 2011.

"Once the business was closed and the cleaning crew had left they went into some different areas of the business and stole a safe," said Charleston Police Cpl. Fred Bowie.

Police say Tubbs and two other men hid in a room at the mall and then made their move.

"Well planned," Bowie said. "They went in through service entrances. They carried the necessary tools with them."

Investigators say the crime was caught on surveillance cameras and they arrested two of the suspects. They're still looking for Tubbs.

Tubbs also was wanted on a charge of criminal domestic violence. He's accused of pushing and slapping his girlfriend.

"To invade a business, pretty brazen, he certainly won't be reluctant to become violent," Bowie warned.
