Investigators find man shot in front of Ridgeville home

DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a man was found shot at his home in Ridgeville Wednesday afternoon.
The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Ridge Road around 12:40 p.m. regarding a disturbance.
When deputies arrived they found a 47-year-old man on the ground bleeding from a gun shot wound to the abdomen in front of his home.
The man was flown to MUSC and his current condition is not known.
According to the sheriff's office, no suspect is being sought and the case is under investigation.
