Man arrested for dealing drugs near school

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department arrested a 21-year-old West Ashley man for selling drugs near a school.
Authorities charged Joshua Prescott Peterson with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within close proximity of a school.
On Thursday, a special investigations unit executed a search warrant at a home on Bayhill Drive. Police say they confiscated 74 grams of marijuana, $400 in cash, pharmaceuticals and drug paraphernalia.
Police are continuing the investigation.
