Search continues for woman after car found idling on bridge

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Search crews continued looking for a woman who abandoned her car while it was still running on the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge on Saturday.
Charleston Police Harbor Patrol, the Coast Guard and DNR officials resumed searching at dawn on Monday morning after spending all day Sunday searching. The Coast Guard also broadcasted an alert to mariners about the search.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers found the car idling in the fourth lane of the bridge around 5:30 a.m. Saturday but couldn't find the driver.
Now Charleston Police Department officers are looking for 23-year-old Elizabeth Ashley Ward. They say she was the last person to drive the car. She is a black female, who is 5'9" inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie, a plaid shirt, a denim jacket and blue jeans.
According to Charleston Police, they are not investigating it as a crime but they are actively searching for Ward.
They found her headphones and iPad at the scene as well.
