Suspect sought after indecent exposure, assault on Daniel Island

DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for indecent exposure and simple assault on Daniel Island.

Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. Friday on Seven Farms Drive, when a man driving a black PT Cruiser got out of his car and exposed himself to a woman on the sidewalk.

The victim told police the man then grabbed her arm before getting back into the newer-model PT Cruiser and driving away.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male with dark hair standing about 5'10" and weighing around 180 pounds.  The suspect appeared to be in his 30s.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing red shorts and a black shirt.
