Police apprehend Live 5 Most Wanted suspect

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man was apprehended by North Charleston police hours after airing as a Live 5 Most Wanted suspect on Thursday.

Police say 34-year-old Demetrius Wyndell Bluford was caught while walking down Midland Park Road in North Charleston.

Bluford is charged with criminal domestic violence and assault and battery second degree in connection with a July 3, 2012 incident.

"He attacked two females that night," Detective Tony Middleton said.

The first victim was Bluford's girlfriend, according to investigators.

Then the argument continued at a neighbor's house, where police said the second woman was attacked.

"He took a metal vase and threw it at that victim, breaking her jaw, nose and cutting her lip," Middleton said.
