CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - State Probation and Parole agents in Charleston County have arrested Live 5 News Most Wanted suspect Dontell Ward.

Ward was wanted for a probation violation.

"Mr. Ward is charged with being released from the Department of Corrections on May 27, 2012 and failing to report into the Department of Probation to begin his supervision," said Agent Mitchell Ray.

Mitchell said Ward gave Corrections Department officials an address where he would be living, but apparently lied.

"Either one of two things happened. Either the address was bogus or the people that live there currently have no knowledge of the offender."

What worries probation agents is that Ward was sent to prison for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

"I want to make sure the kids in Charleston County, in the Tri County area are safe, so having someone like this out on the street unsupervised is not the ideal situation," Ray said.
