Investigators arrest fugitive wanted for shooting 2 women

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A 26-year-old man accused of shooting two women outside a nightclub was arrested on Tuesday.

The Colleton County Sheriff's Office says Kaylor Ramar Aiken was taken into custody after authorities received information that Aiken would be in the Smoaks community in Colleton County.

Aiken was wanted for two counts of attempted murder and featured on Colleton County's Top 10 Most Wanted.

Investigators said the shooting happened last month outside the Plum Crazy on Jeffries Highway.

According to authorities, one woman was shot in the stomach and another woman was shot in the back of her left knee while they were getting into their car outside the club.

According to witnesses, a fight occurred inside the club just prior to the shooting.
