Authorities arrest man suspected in Pawley's Island nightclub shooting

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office say they have arrested a 28-year-old man wanted for a shooting that injured two people at a nightclub on Pawley's Island.

Deputies arrested Terrance Rayon Thompson on Friday and charged him with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of a deadly weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Terrance Rayon Thompson was wanted by authorities who believe he opened fire inside Club Isis on Dec. 29.

On Friday, Georgetown authorities were notified that the Horry County Police Department had taken Thompson into custody. Thompson was locked up at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
