Bathroom facility torched at Wescott Plantation course

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Fire officials are investigating after an outdoor bathroom facility was burned to the ground at a golf course in Wescott Plantation Tuesday night.

North Charleston Fire Department spokesperson Bianca Sancic said the incident happened at a bathroom facility on the Black Robin Course, part of the Golf Club at Wescott Plantation at 7:50 p.m.

When firefighters arrived they found the building fully engulfed in flames.

According to authorities, the structure was a total loss and there were no injuries involved.

Firefighters from North Charleston, Dorchester County and Pine Ridge Fire departments responded to the fire.
