CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston Fire Department say juveniles may have started a fire at a downtown playground Sunday afternoon.
The playground, located in the 100 block of Romney St, suffered damage in the flames.
Shortly after, firefighters responded to a fire along Reid Street. Charleston Fire Department Fire Marshall Mike Julazadeh said that fire involved some brush and discarded items behind the property.
Investigators believe that a vagrant may have been in the area of the fire.
An investigation is ongoing.
