Charleston's top chefs listed among nation's best in new book

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - It's no secret we have great restaurants and chefs in the Lowcountry.  But now, the area's top chefs are listed among the nation's best in a new book just released.  Best Chefs America is a comprehensive guide of chefs and their restaurants from across the country.

Best Chefs America spent months conducting over 5,000 interviews of chefs, culinary professionals, and others in the food industry to identify the most influential chefs in the country.  This peer review process created a list of about 4700 chefs.  Among the 386 pages, you'll find 27 chefs who serve up food right here in the Lowcountry.
