Deputies look for Pawleys Island bank robber

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County deputies are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Pawleys Island on Friday morning.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, the man robbed the Conway National Bank at 10608 Ocean Highway around 10:15 a.m.

Witnesses said the suspect ran south from the bank towards North Causeway Drive.

The suspect is described as a while male in his late thirties to early forties with short gray hair and glasses.  Witnesses said the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap with "Police" on it, a black leather jacket, military style cargo pants, and white tennis shoes.
