NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Bond has been set for a man charged with a felony DUI which left one woman dead and sent two young children to the hospital.

Jonathan Greene, 30, is also facing child endangerment charges.  He appeared before a Charleston County bond court judge Sunday, and was issued a nearly $95,000 bond.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:15 a.m.  Troopers said Greene was driving a car, when it ran off the eastbound lanes of I-26 and struck a tree, around exit 204.

A passenger, 29-year-old Haley Branham of North Charleston, was taken to the hospital where she later died, the Charleston County Coroner's Office said.

Two children were also in the car.  They were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina.  One, less than one years old, was in a car seat, according to officials.  The other, a 3-year-old, was not restrained.
