Charleston bishop to hold special Mass for Pope Francis

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Bishop Robert E. Guglielmone of The Diocese of Charleston will hold a special Mass this Tuesday to honor the installation of Pope Francis.
The Mass will be held in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist at 120 Broad Street.
The service is being held on the same day as the installation Mass at the Vatican, where Pope Francis will receive his papl regalia.
Pope Francis, formerly Archbishop of Buenos Aires Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was selected last week. He is the first Latin-American pope in the history of the world.
Pope Francis is also the first Jesuit pop.
The Mass in Charleston will be held at 12:05 p.m.
