NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials have identified the victim in Wednesday's fatal North Charleston Shooting as 25-year-old Antonio McCullough.

North Charleston police returned to Wales Court on Thursday to continue their investigation into the fatal shooting.

Crime scene investigators and officers were seen scoping out the crime scene and talking to residents on Thursday morning.

The shooting happened Wednesday just before 10 p.m. at Collins Park Villas, located on Wales Court, which is off Dorchester Road near Michaux Parkway.

When police arrived on the scene they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound underneath a red truck.  Investigators say McCullough was later pronounced dead from the wound.

Investigators say the 25-year-old victim was at the location to visit an acquaintance when two unidentified suspects came from the end of Wales Court and began shooting at the victim.

Police say witnesses in the area saw at least two unidentified suspects running in the area.

Reporter Sujata Jain arrived at the scene a little before 11 p.m. to find an emotional group of people, some of them saying "he's dead, he's dead."

Witnesses said they heard shots fired.

It is the fourth shooting in North Charleston in three days.

The investigation is ongoing.
