Fire Department: person crossing tracks hit by train

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - One person is recovering after being hit by a train near the Amtrak Station, that's according to the North Charleston Fire Department.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday near the Rivers Avenue overpass.
Fire officials told our crews on scene the person was walking across the track when the accident happened.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
We're told the person wasn't seriously injured.
