NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say the truck which jackknifed on eastbound Interstate 526 near Interstate 26 on Thursday morning was hauling dock pylons.
North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said the single-vehicle wreck happened around 11 a.m. when the driver lost control of the trailer, which was hauling 40' pylons.
The left lane was closed for about two hours while crews cleared the scene.
Pryor said the driver was taken to Roper St. Francis for treatment of minor injuries, while the passenger was unharmed.
