Lanes reopened following I-26 vehicle fire

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - All lanes are open and traffic is moving once again on I-26 westbound after an earlier vehicle fire near Cosgrove Avenue.
Officials responded to a vehicle fire on I-26 Westbound near exit 216 around 3 p.m. Law enforcement and firefighters closed down multiple lanes to work the incident, causing major traffic delays.
Traffic cameras are showing that the incident has been cleared, and traffic is moving smoothly.
It is unknown at this time if there were any injuries.
