DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A 41-year-old man is behind bars accused of stealing nearly $3,000 worth of equipment from a home construction site on Daniel Island.

The Charleston Police Department arrested Terry Lee Williams of Huger on Wednesday and charged him with second-degree burglary.

Williams arrest stems from an incident on Dec. 15, 2012 where officers responded to Ithecaw Street for a report of items being stolen from a construction site.

Construction officials told officers that someone had entered the home, damaged a door and stolen nearly $3,000 in construction equipment.

Investigators said the stolen items were pawned at a pawn shop a month later.

Williams was featured on a segment on Live 5 News Most Wanted.
