Fire crews put out blaze at Moncks Corner recycling plant

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - Fire officials are investigating a fire that occurred Saturday afternoon in the 1600 block of Cypress Gardens Road in Moncks Corner.
Multiple fire agencies were called out to the Viva Recycling Plant where light smoke could be seen coming from the building.
Officials with Berkeley County Emergency Preparedness say no one was hurt in the blaze and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
