BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The driver of a logging truck that overturned late Wednesday afternoon along Highway 176 in Berkeley County has been charged.

Raymond Dingle, 33, has been charged with driving too fast for conditions.

According to Highway Patrol, Dingle was driving on Hwy. 176 just before 5 p.m. when he attempted to turn left onto Black Tom Road.

Officers say the logs he was transporting shifted, causing the truck to overturn.

The road was blocked temporarily while a tow truck pulled the log truck off its side.

Officers say Dingle was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
