Deputies identify suspect in Goose Creek shooting

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 37-year-old man accused of shooting one person and shooting at another at a Goose Creek home on Tuesday night.

According to sheriff's office spokesman Dan Moon, deputies are looking for Sammy McCrae, of 112 Wright Lane, in connection with a shooting at 1 Leroy Court.

Moon said an argument between McCrae and another man turned physical around 8 p.m., and ended with McCrae shooting the victim in the leg.  Moon said another man then confronted McCrae, and was also shot at.

One victim was hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

McCrae stands about 5'3" and weighs about 160 pounds.
