BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have arrested two people after authorities found drugs and a rifle at a Moncks Corner home on Friday.

The Moncks Corner Police Department charged 20-year-old Sedrick Segar and 33-year-old Zadoc Bailey with armed robbery, possession with intent to distribute narcotics and possession of a firearm by convicted felons.

Police say it all started when officers were serving warrants at a home on Stewart Drive in reference to a robbery in St. Stephen.

An incident report states when police arrived at the home, Segar and Bailey both tried to get away, but were apprehended quickly.

Officers say they recovered 23.4 grams of marijuana, a loaded Norenko 7.62 caliber rifle and other drug paraphernalia.
