Charleston Co. votes to close bars in unincorporated areas at 2 a.m.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Council voted unanimously to make bars in unincorporated areas close their doors at 2 a.m.
Tuesday night's vote was the third and final vote on the ordinance.
Currently, bars in the area are allowed to serve alcohol until 2 a.m. and stay open until 6 a.m.
The new ordinance would require businesses to shut down at 2 a.m. The new ordinance takes effect in 90 days.
