SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified thebody authorities recovered off of Sullivan's Island Friday morning.

The coroner's office said 46-year-old Clinton Wade, of Mt. Pleasant, drowned.

According to Major Jim Brady with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, search crews recovered the body in the Charleston Harbor near the jetties off Sullivan's Island a little after 7 a.m.  Brady said a boater called 911 around 6:30 a.m. after finding the body floating in the water.

Brady said Sullivan's Island Rescue, Isle of Palms Rescue, Charleston County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol, and the US Coast Guard all participated in the search, which was launched off the boat landing on Osceola Drive.
