Inmate found dead at Georgetown Co. Detention Center

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County deputies say an inmate was found dead Saturday at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
Officials say the inmate was found unresponsive around 12 p.m. Georgetown County Sheriff's Correctional Officers responded to the incident.
The inmate's name and the cause of death have not yet been released.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has investigating.
