Mt. Pleasant runaway teen located, police say

A 16-year-old Mt. Pleasant girl that ran away from her home earlier this month has been located, according to Mt. Pleasant police.
Major Stan Gragg said Autumn Marie Ellison returned home after officers began pressuring her friends as to her whereabouts.
Ellison was reported missing by her father on July 8.
Police released a statement Friday saying the teen was back in the Lowcountry and spotted with an unknown person. Officers had earlier believed Ellison may have made it to the Navada-California border with friends she knows in the Reno area.
