Coroner identifies man found dead in pool on Wadmalaw Island

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was found dead in a pool at a Wadmalaw Island home Tuesday.
The victim, 46-year-old Jeffrey Barnwell, was found dead in a pool at a home on McCants Road around 3 p.m., according to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
Foul play is not suspected in the death, which is under investigation.
The cause of death is still pending, according to the coroner's office.
