HOLLYWOOD, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County sheriff's deputies found a fugitive wanted in New Jersey hiding in Hollywood on Monday morning, authorities say.
Major Jim Brady with the sheriff's office said deputies and US Marshals received a tip that 43-year-old Mark Tillman was hiding out at a home on Chaplin's Landing Road. Authorities said they arrived at the home around 9:30 a.m. to find Tillman lying on a bed in the rear of the residence.
Brady said he was taken into custody without incident.
Tillman was wanted by the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court on drug charges.
He is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center pending extradition back to New Jersey.
