Two men wounded in downtown Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police are investigating after two men were shot late Monday on the east side of downtown Charleston.
According to an incident report, officers responded to reports of a shooting near Hanover and Line streets just after 10 p.m. They arrived to find a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers said one victim was found on the sidewalk in front of 65 Hanover Street with a gunshot wound to his left arm and left leg. The other victim was found lying on the porch of Apartment B at 70 Hanover Street. He was shot in the left ankle.
Both victims were taken to Medical University of South Carolina for treatment. One victim is listed in stable condition, the other is listed in good condition.
Police said they found about six shell casings in the road in front of 59 Hanover Street. A Chevy Malibu parked out front suffered damage to the driver's-side quarter panel, according to the report.
Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said investigators had limited information on a suspect.
