Colleton County 40, Wando 37 - The Cougars (1-2) broke their 36-game losing streak and earned their first victory since November of 2009 (first home wins since October 31, 2008). Letrell Nieves scored two TD's for Colleton County. Bruce Holmes scored the go ahead score late in the 4th quarter and Tristan Pontoon scored on a 54-yard interception return to seal the victory. The Warriors fall to 2-2.



Goose Creek 34, Summerville 17 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - The Gators (3-0) won their fourth in a row over the Green Wave

Lincoln 32, Creek Bridge 22 - The Yellow Jackets (1-3) end their 48-game losing streak with a double-digit victory on the road. Lincoln avoids owning the state record for longest losing streak by itself; they share it with Waccamaw.

Stratford 26, Fort Dorchester 13 - Jacob Park was 16-30 for 351 yards passing and two touchdowns to lead the Knights (3-0) to a big win on the road.  The Patriots are 2-1.

Berkeley 28, Cane Bay 13 - The Stags (1-2) beat the Cobras (0-3) for the first time in four meetings.

West Ashley 20, Ashley Ridge 10 - The Wildcats (3-0) tied the program record for best start to a season with a solid defensive effort at The Swamp; Donte Patterson returned an interception for a touchdown in the second quarter. The Swamp Foxes fall to 0-3.

Beaufort 35, Groves (GA) 0 - The Eagles are now 3-0.

Bluffton 43, Ridgeland-Hardeeville 2 - The Bobcats move to 3-1.

Georgetown 59, James Island 28 - The Trojans (1-3) can't keep up with the Bulldogs (3-0).

Hilton Head 48, Battery Creek 20 - The Dolphins (1-2) drop a road contest to the Seahawks (3-0)

Timberland 51, C.E. Murray 6 - The Wolves (3-1) cruise to a win at home; they've scored a combined 164 points on the War Eagles in the past three meetings.

Woodland 49, Barnwell 35 - The Wolverines' offense leads the way to a 3-0 start to the season.

Garrett 36, Military Magnet 18 - The Falcons go to 3-0; Louis Lawrence returned a kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter of the victory.  The Eagles drop to 2-2.

Baptist Hill 42, North Charleston 14 - The Bobcats (4-0) keep rolling as the Cougars (0-3) remain winless.

Academic Magnet 21, Branchville 6 - The Raptors improve to 2-1.

Stall 27, St. John's 7 - The Warriors (1-2) picked up their first win of the season; the Islanders fall to 1-3.

Hemingway 37, Cross 12 - The Trojans (1-3) struggle on the road.

Scott's Branch 14, Burke 6 - The Bulldogs score their first points of the season, but fall to 0-3.


Bishop England 33, Porter Gaud 14 - The Battling Bishops (1-2) take the latest chapter of the Holy War as Nick Shiver runs for 179 yards and two touchdowns.  The Cyclones are now 2-2 on the season.

Orangeburg Prep 35, Pinewood Prep 0 - The Panthers (0-3) are still looking for their first win of 2013.

Florence Christian 50, Northwood Academy 17 - The Chargers (2-1) lose big on the road.

Thomas Heyward 47, Colleton Prep 13 - The War Hawks (1-3) drop their third in a row and their home opener.

Hilton Head Christian 29, Dorchester Academy 28 - The Raiders (0-3) come up just short on the road.

Trinity-Byrnes at Palmetto Christian, Canceled (Wet Field) - The game will not be made up.
