Daniel Island meeting to focus on secession from Berkeley Co.

DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A possible move from Berkeley County to Charleston County is the focus for Daniel Island residents during a special meeting.
The Daniel Island Neighborhood Association will hold the discussion at 7 p.m. in the Bishop England High School Auditorium.
During the meeting, expected to last one hour, information will be provided to residents of the island as to the options, process and benefits of leaving Berkeley County and being annexed into Charleston County.
All residents are invited to attend. Berkeley County representatives are also expected to be there.
