13 people report throat irritation, coughing at James Island Walmart

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Officials say Walmart on James Island was evacuated after thirteen people reported discomfort on Thursday afternoon.
Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said hazmat crews responded to identify the element that caused the discomfort at the store located at 1231 Folly Road.
Officials with the Charleston Fire Department said the hazmat crew preformed air monitoring, but where unable to located anything as whatever irritated the customers appeared to clear up.
The store was evacuated, but has since reopened.
No one has been taken to the hospital, Francis added. EMS is on the scene.
