GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Carrie Cuthbertson, sheriff's office spokeswoman, said Cooters Convenience Store, located at 3508 South Fraser Street, was held up around 10 p.m. Monday.

Cuthbertson said two suspects walked in and demanded money from the clerk, before taking an array of items and an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspects fled the store in a silver, 2-door import vehicle onto Pennyroyal Road, Cuthbertson said.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” to 6’ in height with a thin build and dark skin.  He was reportedly wearing a dark hoodie with his face covered by a multi-colored dark bandana. The second suspect is described as a black male with dark skin and a thin build, wearing what appeared to be a camouflaged hat, gray basketball shorts and black tennis shoes.

Anyone that can identify the suspects or has any information about the robbery is urged to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5101.
